Partnership Protocol between Baheya Foundation and EmpowerHer Breast Cancer Network
Purpose:
This protocol aims to establish a collaborative partnership between Baheya Foundation and EmpowerHer Breast Cancer Network to enhance breast cancer awareness, education, treatment, and support services. The partnership seeks to leverage the strengths and resources of both organizations to make a significant impact on the lives of breast cancer fighters and their families.
Objectives:
1- Promote Early Detection and Awareness:
- Conduct joint awareness campaigns and educational programs to promote early detection of breast cancer.
- Develop and distribute informational materials and resources to educate the public about breast cancer prevention and treatment.
2- Enhance Support Services:
- Provide comprehensive psychological support, art therapy, and wellness programs for breast cancer fighters.
- Share best practices and methodologies for effective patient support and care.
3- Expand Access to Care:
- Collaborate on initiatives to provide free breast cancer screenings and medical check-ups.
- Work together to improve access to breast cancer treatment and care for underserved populations.
4- Foster Research and Education:
- Promote joint research efforts on breast cancer between medical institutions in low and middle-income countries and the United States.
- Support the training and development of healthcare professionals through workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
Collaboration Activities:
1- Educational Workshops and Seminars:
- Organize joint workshops and seminars on breast cancer awareness, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Invite medical experts and survivors to share their knowledge and experiences with participants.
2- Psychological Support Group Meetings and Art & Handicraft Therapy Sessions:
- Facilitate psychological support group meetings, art and handicrafts therapy sessions and other creative workshops for breast cancer fighters and survivors, providing a safe space for sharing experiences and receiving emotional well-being support.
3- Community Outreach Programs:
- Conduct community outreach programs to raise awareness about breast cancer and distribute informational materials.
- Engage with local communities to promote early detection practices and regular screenings.
4- Wellness Programs:
- Offer yoga, meditation, and nutrition sessions to promote overall wellness and mental health.
5- Joint Fundraising Events:
- Organize joint fundraising events to support the programs and services of both organizations.
- Develop collaborative fundraising campaigns to engage donors and supporters.
6- Research and Development:
- Collaborate on research projects to advance the understanding and treatment of breast cancer.
- Share research findings and innovative practices with the global medical community.
Monitoring and Accountability:
- Establish a clear agreement outlining the intended use of funds and resources provided by EmpowerHer Breast Cancer Network to Baheya Foundation.
- Require regular reports from Baheya Foundation detailing the use of funds and the impact of their programs.
- Ensure transparency and accountability through regular monitoring and evaluation of partnership activities.
Governance:
- Form a joint steering committee comprising representatives from both organizations to oversee the implementation of the partnership protocol.
- Hold regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan future activities.
Duration and Termination:
- The partnership protocol shall remain in effect for an initial period of [specify duration, e.g., two years], with the option for renewal upon mutual agreement.
- Either party may terminate the partnership by providing written notice [specify notice period, e.g., three months] in advance.
