Baheya’s mission

Baheya Foundation is an Egyptian non-profit organization targeting early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Established in 2015, the foundation’s mission is to provide medical and psychological support to female breast cancer patients in Egypt. The foundation offers a range of services including medical examinations, early diagnosis, surgical treatment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, physiotherapy, as well as psychological and social support for patients.

Partnership’s vision

Empowerher Breast Cancer Network has a supportive relationship with Baheya Foundation, focused on supporting Baheya Foundation’s mission to provide financial support to enhance Baheya Foundation’s capacity to offer free diagnostic services, treatment, and follow-up care for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. This ensures that all women have access to essential healthcare without the burden of financial constraints. Here’s how they will be collaborating:

1- Program Support

Empowerher will support Baheya’s programs, such as the Nursing Excellence Initiative, by providing resources, training, and mentorship to nursing students and healthcare professionals

2- Awareness and Education

Empowerher will work with Baheya to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. This includes educational campaigns, community outreach, and advocacy work.

3- Financial Support

Empowerher will provide financial support to Baheya Foundation to help fund their services including breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

4- Monitoring and Accountability

Empowerher will establish a clear agreement with Baheya Foundation outlining the intended use of the funds. They will require regular reports from Baheya detailing how the funds have been used and the impact of their programs. This ensures transparency and accountability.
